Next Brain Awareness Week/ Semana de Conocimiento del Cerebro: March 10–16th, 2014

Heads-up: as proud Brain Aware­ness Week Out­reach Part­ners, we are hap­py to announce that Brain Aware­ness Week 2014 will take place the week of March 10–16th. Spear­head­ed by the Dana Alliance for Brain Ini­tia­tives every March, BAW unites the efforts of part­ner orga­ni­za­tions world­wide in a cel­e­bra­tion of the brain for peo­ple of all ages. Activ­i­ties include open days at neu­ro­science labs; exhi­bi­tions about the brain; lec­tures on brain-relat­ed top­ics; social media cam­paigns; dis­plays at libraries and com­mu­ni­ty cen­ters; class­room work­shops; and more. Sharp­Brains will col­lab­o­rate with activ­i­ties and mate­ri­als in Eng­lish and Span­ish, to be announced lat­er this month. Look­ing for­ward to a great cel­e­bra­tion of our most pre­cious resource!
