The Alzheimer’s Research and Pre­ven­tion Foun­da­tion (ARPF) is ded­i­cat­ed to reduc­ing the inci­dence of Alzheimer’s dis­ease by con­duct­ing clin­i­cal research and pro­vid­ing edu­ca­tion­al out­reach. Estab­lished in 1993, its mis­sion is to make avail­able infor­ma­tion to empow­er peo­ple to build healthy brains based on lifestyle tools such as yoga, med­i­ta­tion and nutrition.

The Arrow­smith Pro­gram, avail­able in pub­lic and pri­vate schools in the U.S., Cana­da, Aus­tralia and New Zealand is a com­pre­hen­sive suite of cog­ni­tive pro­grams for stu­dents with learn­ing dis­abil­i­ties that tar­gets 19 areas of the brain that are most com­mon­ly involved in learning.

Ban­ner Health is one of the largest non­prof­it health sys­tems in the USA, employ­ing more than 50,000 ded­i­cat­ed and car­ing staff mem­bers in 29 hos­pi­tals and oth­er set­tings, includ­ing home care and hos­pice, research facil­i­ties, long-term care, nurs­ing reg­istries, surgery cen­ters, physi­cian clin­ics and prac­tices, lab­o­ra­to­ries and reha­bil­i­ta­tion services.

Bay­crest, ful­ly affil­i­at­ed with the Uni­ver­si­ty of Toron­to, is one of the world’s pre­mier aca­d­e­m­ic health sci­ences cen­ters focused on aging. Bay­crest is using the pow­er of inquiry and dis­cov­ery to improve the health of tomorrow’s elder­ly while at the same time care for and enhance the qual­i­ty of life of the elder­ly today.

Brain­Base­line is the first iPad appli­ca­tion for mea­sur­ing how well your brain works. Devel­oped by Dig­i­tal Arte­facts, it helps users world­wide under­stand how demo­graph­ic fac­tors and leisure activ­i­ties impact over­all brain health. Its new Brain­Base­line Lab helps accel­er­ate cog­ni­tive research. The apps, which includes dozens of tests, can be down­loaded free on the iTunes store.

The Cana­di­an Cen­tre for Aging and Brain Health Inno­va­tion (CC-ABHI) is a solu­tion accel­er­a­tor for the aging and brain health sec­tor. Its focus is to facil­i­tate the improve­ment of the patient expe­ri­ence for old­er adults liv­ing with demen­tia by fos­ter­ing ground-break­ing col­lab­o­ra­tions among lead­ing glob­al inno­va­tors and seniors’ care orga­ni­za­tions in North Amer­i­ca and around the world, by pro­vid­ing fund­ing sup­port to lead­ing glob­al inno­va­tors and seniors’ care organizations.

EMOTIV is a bioin­for­mat­ics com­pa­ny advanc­ing under­stand­ing of the human brain using elec­troen­cephalog­ra­phy (EEG). Our mis­sion is to empow­er indi­vid­u­als to under­stand their own brain and accel­er­ate brain research globally.

Mind­Maze has devel­oped a break­through plat­form to build intu­itive human machine inter­faces com­bin­ing vir­tu­al real­i­ty (VR), com­put­er graph­ics, brain imag­ing & neu­ro­science, enabling excit­ing new appli­ca­tions in gam­ing, brain machine con­trol, and healthcare.

Sci­en­tif­ic Brain Train­ing (SBT), is a lead­ing group com­bin­ing cog­ni­tive sci­ences and new tech­nolo­gies to serve orga­ni­za­tions and indi­vid­u­als.
