Meet the Team

The Next Chap­ter Accel­er­a­tor was cre­at­ed by pur­pose-dri­ven senior lead­ers who are active­ly chart­ing their own “next chap­ters” joy­ful­ly and pur­pose­ful­ly. Our goal is to accel­er­ate the path for­ward for oth­er lead­ers by draw­ing on the lessons we have learned walk­ing sim­i­lar caminos.

Fiona Macaulay

Fiona Macaulay is a ser­i­al social inno­va­tor, named one of the top 1% of women entre­pre­neurs in the U.S. She’s a glob­al leader ded­i­cat­ed to empow­er­ing women and diverse lead­ers. Fiona leads the WILD Net­work, a com­mu­ni­ty of 25,000 peo­ple pro­mot­ing women’s lead­er­ship world­wide. An Adjunct Pro­fes­sor at George­town University’s McDo­nough School of Busi­ness, she is devel­op­ing the next gen­er­a­tion of social inno­va­tors. She serves on sev­er­al glob­al boards and writes for Inc.com, with her work fea­tured in the New York Times. Author of forth­com­ing book, “Aim­ing High and Bounc­ing Back: Improv­ing Your Rela­tion­ship with Failure” .

Lisa Neuberger Fernandez

Lisa is the Co-Founder and Chief Inno­va­tion Offi­cer at Sharp­Brains Advi­sors, pro­vid­ing strate­gic advi­so­ry ser­vices to high-growth, pur­pose-dri­ven orga­ni­za­tions. With over 25 years of expe­ri­ence, she has led glob­al strat­e­gy and inno­va­tion teams across sec­tors, includ­ing Accen­ture and the World Bank. Lisa co-authored “Rebal­ance: How Women Lead, Par­ent, Part­ner, and Thrive” and teach­es sus­tain­abil­i­ty strat­e­gy at IE Uni­ver­si­ty. Recent­ly relo­cat­ed to Madrid, she enjoys accel­er­at­ing the impact of social entre­pre­neurs, con­nect­ing peo­ple, and walk + talks in beau­ti­ful places.
