Expo Day this Thursday, December 8th to showcase latest brain health innovation by leading developers, universities, and practitioners

Heads-up: Dur­ing Expo Day (this Thurs­day, Decem­ber 8th) sev­er­al great Part­ners and Spon­sors of the 2016 Sharp­Brains Vir­tu­al Sum­mit will show­case their lat­est ini­tia­tives and solutions.

This is the sched­ule of activities–we hope you can join us!

8.30–9am. Char­lie Hartwell, Oper­at­ing Part­ner at The Bridge Builders Col­lab­o­ra­tive, will present an Overview of the Mind Train­ing Space.

9–9.30am. Dr. Bob Bilder, Chief of Med­ical Psy­chol­o­gy & Neu­ropsy­chol­o­gy at UCLA, will announce the Dis­rup­tive Tech­nol­o­gy Ini­tia­tive by the Amer­i­can Acad­e­my of Clin­i­cal Neu­ropsy­chol­o­gy (AACN).

9.30–10am. Ron Riesen­bach, Man­ag­ing Direc­tor of the Cana­di­an Cen­tre for Aging and Brain Health Inno­va­tion (CC-ABHI), will present Spark and three oth­er new fund­ing programs.

10–10.30am. Break

10.30–11am. Dr. Daniel Perez-Mar­cos, Senior Sci­en­tist at Mind­Maze, will present will present the Mind­Mo­tion platform–a series of med­ical-grade vir­tu­al real­i­ty solu­tions for neu­rore­ha­bil­i­ta­tion.

11–11.30am. Q&A with Alvaro Fer­nan­dez. Sharp­Brains‘ CEO & Edi­tor-in-Chief will answer questions–and raise a few–about the pri­or­i­ties dis­cussed at the Sum­mit.

11.30am-noon. Mark Wat­son, Co-Direc­tor of the Wat­son Cen­tre for Brain Health, will present lat­est research and pro­grams for cog­ni­tive reha­bil­i­ta­tion.

1–1.30pm. Franck Tarpin-Bernard, Man­ag­ing Direc­tor of Sci­en­tif­ic Brain Train­ing (SBT), will dis­cuss new part­ner­ships fol­low­ing their ISO 13485 cer­ti­fi­ca­tion for med­ical devices — cog­ni­tive reme­di­a­tion.

1.30–2pm. Jes­si­ca Poulin, Strate­gic Oper­a­tions Man­ag­er at the Arrow­smith Pro­gram, will present their plans to bet­ter equip 100+ schools help­ing stu­dents with spe­cial needs.

2–2.30pm. Dr. Dou­glas Ziedo­nis, Pro­fes­sor and Chair of the Depart­ment of Psy­chi­a­try at at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Mass­a­chu­setts Med­ical School, will dis­cuss their brain health coach­ing and pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment ini­tia­tives.
