Dear SharpBrains community,
It is an honor to share that I’ve been asked to join the Council on the Future of Human Enhancement, organized by the World Economic Forum, for its 2016–2018 term. It will be my pleasure to contribute as much as possible to the initiative, and also to engage you as much as I can.
As described in the invitation, “In a global environment marked by short-term orientation and siloed thinking, the network fosters interdisciplinary and long-range thinking to support a sustainable and equitable future…The Network of Global Future Councils is a global community of over 800 thought leaders who are the foremost experts in their fields of academia, business, government, international organizations and civil society. Grouped in 35 councils, members commit their extensive knowledge, expertise and passion to provide forward-looking thought leadership for the Forum’s strategic initiatives through:
- Analysis and actions to shape the key global systems, articulating and monitoring a clear transformation agenda
- Deepening understanding of the drivers and enablers of the Fourth Industrial Revolution as well as its impact on global systems
- Contextualizing these shifts within the main regional/ national contexts and discerning implications for decisionmakers”
Will keep you posted!
