Dr. Gregory Bayer on Adding Brain to Behavioral Healthcare

Gregory Bayer, new CEO of Brain Resource’s US operations, served most recently as the Chief Exec­u­tive Offi­cer of OptumHealth Behav­ioral Solu­tions, a divi­sion of UnitedHealth Group, serv­ing 43 mil­lion mem­bers. Under his lead­er­ship, OptumHealth Behav­ioral Solu­tions dou­bled rev­enues to over two bil­lion dol­lars, entered new mar­kets and achieved a lead­ing mar­ket posi­tion both domes­ti­cally and inter­na­tion­ally. Dr. Bayer led the deci­sion to include Brain Resource prod­ucts in OptumHealth’s offerings. Dr. Bayer trained as a clinical psychologist and spent 25 years plus in clinical practice and managed behavioral healthcare.
