Brain Awareness Week is Approaching: March 12–18th, 2012
Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is the global campaign, organized by the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives, to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. Every March, BAW unites the efforts of partner organizations worldwide in a celebration of the brain for people of all ages. Events are limited only by the organizers’ imaginations and include open days at neuroscience labs; exhibitions about the brain; lectures on brain-related topics; displays at libraries and community centers; classroom workshops; and more.
SharpBrains.com, as a BAW Outreach Partner, will publish a special series of Featured Perspectives in March, and offer the online course How to Be Your Own Brain Fitness Coach in 2012.
