Six events to raise awareness and funds for women’s brain health on May 21st

Move-For-MindsMaria Shriver and Ann Romney are hosting women’s brain health event on May 21 (The Boston Globe):

Nearly two-thirds of those with Alzheimer’s disease are women. It’s a scary fact, and that’s why Maria Shriver has teamed up with Equinox Sports Club to host “Move for Minds,” an event that aims to raise awareness and money to support research on the disease and women’s brain health. It will take place on May 21 at Equinox locations in New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, Calif., and — of course — Boston…

The thing I’m particularly excited about is connecting physical health to brain health,” said Shriver, in a telephone interview. “Hopefully next year it will be in 20 cities.” For more information, visit www.thewomensalzheimerschallenge.org.
