Brain Fitness Webinar Series

I have been travelling much over the last 2 weeks to speak at a number of conferences and universities. Hello again, Alvaro.
Sounds like you are moving right along with new ideas. I have a question. Is the information in the webinars substantially different from that in the publications, your printed and online report, for example, or John Medina’s Brain Rules book (which I have purchased and am enjoying)?

    Thanks, Ken

    Hello yet again.

Are the “Ads by Google” products or companies that SmartBrains has reviewed and approved?

    Ken

Can you describe the format e.g if I am on dial-up will I be able to watch, hear etc. the web broadcast or do I require High Speed ?

  5. Alvaro on May 15, 2008 at 9:06

Hello Jan, we can’t sign you up. You need to find the webinar you want to attend, and register yourself. Thank you.

    Kenneth:
    1) the first 2 webinars are an introduction to those same materials. If you have the report, you know the subject in much more depth than we can cover in a webinar. If you have the book, same.

The third webinar is different, it is more of a summary of many other topics we cover in this blog.
    2) Those ads are managed by Scientific American/ Google. We have nothing to do with them. So please don’t believe we have reviewed or endorsed any product simply because an ad appears for it.

Lyn: webinars are most often used in corporate meetings and events, using high-speed. We don’t recommend people access them using dial-up…but you can certainly try!

    Hi..
registering for the webinars, when registering for the June session, I have to input the same info…is there no short cut?

    dom

  7. Alvaro on May 21, 2008 at 7:44

    Hello Dom,

Each webinar requires separate registration, sorry for the inconvenience.

Are these webinars going to be available in another format for download such as a podcast or mp3? They are scheduled for times when I’m unavailable.

Was very disappointed I signed up for Webinar #1: In “The State of the Brain Fitness Software Market, 2008 and received no link to access the webinar

  10. Alvaro on May 27, 2008 at 8:26

John: not for the time being. Depending on the reception of this series, we may repeat it, or similar, in the future.

Diana: all email confirmations and reminders are sent automatically via the webinar platform. Your anti-Spam system may have misclassified those reminders. Please see if you find your details there; otherwise email us at support at sharpbrains dot com.

    Alvaro,
Thank you very much for offering today’s webinar. My residents and I greatly enjoyed it. We did have a couple of questions afterwards.

    1. Are any of the companies you reviewed non-for-profit?

    2. Can you send me the slides Prior to you webinar? It would have been helpful to take notes on the actual pages. We are signed up for #2 and can’t wait.

    Thank you,
    Michele

Michele, thank you for participating yesterday, and for your comment. I responded to your emails questions. Quickly, on these ones:

    1- None is.

2- As explained via difficult, I understand your request but we can’t implement it…the main reason being we want people to actually attend the webinar.

    Talk to you next Tuesday!
